<Saif> Cast - if a potion doesn't have a 3e equivalent we'll just treat it like the 2e version.  You just won't see any others.  On Fin, I didn't see any need to change anything.  Everything he has exists on 3e.  I vaguely recall answering that e-mail and pointing that out.

<Saif> The party approved 2,000 from funds, but I realized as I was making up the list to choose from that ammo in 3e is more expensive, so you won't get as much as you used to for that amount.

<Kat> Dessy's Surprise are normal arrows that Dessalynne (Matar's Girlfriend) has created.  They are arrows with metallic cylinders instead of arrow heads.  The cylinder is filled with Alchemist's fire.  A small plunger at the top contains a tiny thunderstone.  When the arrow hits something the thunderstone ruptures the

<Kat> cylinder, spraying the alchemist's fire over a 10' radius, doing d6 fire damage to anybody within that range that round, Reflex save DC 15 for no damage (rolls away).  Ranges for these arrows are half the normal distance.  Matar is given 20 of these arrows.  Dessalynne offers the rest of her stock to the party, at her cost. 

<Kat> Now that Dessy has figured out how to make these arrows she offers to make more for the party in the future.  She tells you that she could change things on them as well, for example, making the alchemist's fire thicker (only a 5' burst radius, but no ST), or the cylinder smaller (5' burst, gets ST, no range problem), or

<Kat> you could enchant the arrows.  She also provides quiver bases for the arrows to sit in that will prevent accidental discharge

<Saif> BTW - Ari, on your sword Thengal made a +2 blade.  The Company of the Dark Lady (he went to them for some $ help) pitched in enough to make it a Holy Burst weapon - so if you score a crit hit you do an additional d10 Holy damage

<Saif> not really - this is an older and apparently more heavily used section of the Underdark - as much a highway as you've seen so far

<Saif> The walls are fairly smooth.

<Castinar> "I can venture a guess, but that would be all it is --- one leads to their 'village', the other to their 'customers'

<Castinar> *guessing at least 75% cover from the ground?

<Kat> "I can hang on to just about any wall."

<Saif> If they hide behind the crenelations - i.e. your first shots will probably be 50%, but from then on out 75% when the fire, 90% otherwise.

<Bohica> "I can ignore cover with my crossbow for a few shots - neat spell i picked up at the academy."

<Kat> "oh, you should learn to share," Nikki would comment.

<Saif> yes, about that far - not precise, but there are enough along both sides that the entire tunnel is well lit.  They are not as bright as cont.light globes, but they don't really need to be since the derro have low-light vision.
