The Vault: Party History

Ah, so you have chosen to visit the Vault. Welcome then! Sit back and enjoy the story, of this lovely lady, who was bringing up three very love... huh? Oh, sorry. One of the things Saif has let me see in your world is this marvelous thing called a television. Ah-hem. Anyway, the Vault.

We have many options for you to choose from. Some allow you to see far back into the history of the Truth Seekers. Others can serve to catch you up on recent events the company has experienced.

Let us begin with those of you who are of little patience. You will be pleased to see that there is a Quick and Dirty narration covering the Truth Seeker's adventurers available. Saif calls these the "Cliff Notes" version - something which apparently amuses him. Click on the button to your right to read this abbreviated history.

For those of you with a longer-term point of view might I recommend our two timelines? The Timeline by Event gives a very brief account of the major accomplishments of the Truth Seekers. For those of you with the "module" A Night Below this would be a good place to start. You can quickly find such names as "Broken Spire Keep" and "Garlstone Mine". Once you have found the dates of the event you wish to know more about you should look at the longer Timeline by Date. This document gives a day-to-day account of the journeys, trials, tribulations, lootings and plunderings inflicted upon the world by the Truth Seekers. If you wish to learn more about the early mis-adventures of the Truth Seekers there exists another option. A monk from the sanctuary of Candlekeep was given the task of recording all of the initial actions of this party. His journal-like account of the activities of these mortals is stored in two tomes. Due to the large size of these tomes Saif has chosen not to make them available through the realm of the "world wide web". However, you need only to e-mail Saif and request said tomes. He will then forward them to you forthwith.

Ah, but perhaps you are already familiar with the Truth Seekers and wish to keep up with their latest escapades? Your wish is my command. As I mentioned in the introduction, the majority of your reality's incursions into mine occur while the players are in the realm of IRC. Saif must have some minor demon enslaved and tasked to record all conversations by the players during their time in the IRC world. These recordings are then transcribed, no doubt painfully, and are placed on the web for your reading pleasure. Saif then reviews these transcripts and creates a summary of each "chat session". The following section has recently been updated to include all chat summaries and logs which Saif has access to, some apparently having been stolen in the distant past.
