Jurgenville Mages' Guild

• The Guild runs a "bulletin board" service for spell swapping, putting mages across the Realms in touch with each other. The details of the trade have to be worked out between the respective mages, a process that normally takes upwards of a week. Once the terms of the trade are agreed on the Guild takes care of transporting and delivering the scrolls. They also guarentee that the spell will be as advertised. (If it isn't the mage sending the spell is banished from the Guild.) For this service they charge 200 gp per level of the spells transferred.
• There are three different levels of membership within the guild
  • Basic Membership costs 1,000 gp per level of the caster per year. It gives the caster access to whatever facilities exist locally. It also provides the spell swapping service listed above and provides discounts on controlled teleports between cities (only 250 gp per trip instead of 500 gp).
  • Deluxe Membership costs 2,500 gp per level. It provides all basic services plus access to the huge library on Neworion. The membership price includes 12 round trips to Neworion and 12 days worth of research during the year of the membership. Additional days cost 100 gp per day. Additional trips to Neworion cost 250 gp per trip.
  • The Magus is the most exclusive level and costs 5,000 gp per level. Access to this level of membership is by invitation only. It provides the member unlimited access to the controlled teleporation devices and to the library on Neworion. Other perks are provided as possible (such as being allowed to bid on rare magical items, etc.).
