Diana is invited to speak at Magicfest
My esteemed Diana Meaolana,
On behalf of the Temple of Isis in Ordilun and with the concurrence of the Council of Sembian Mages it is my honor to address you this day. It is my prayer that this letter finds you in good heath and excellent spirits.
As you know, our Temple and the Council host a conference of all things magical every third year. This year's conference promises to be one of the largest ever, with over 200 wizards and clerics scheduled to be in attendance from across the Realms. It is our pleasure to invite you to attend the conference this year. As usual it will be held in a extra-dimensional pocket universe created for just this event. Entrance to this pocket will be via a gate within the Temple of Isis.
It is also our privilege to invite you to be one of the speakers at this year's event. At your pleasure we would like you to participate in three events. The first is the dinner on the third night of the conference. You will be the keynote speaker that evening. We should like for you to speak on your adventures in the Underdark, and in particular on how you have used your magical abilities to survive in such a hostile environment. The second event would be a much smaller milieu. On the fourth day we are holding several workshops. We humbly ask that you lead one of these workshops. The topic would be up to you, although several individuals have expressed interest in learning more about the "defender" spell you have recently developed. Others are quite interested in your ability to cast mage and clerical spells in the same manner. Finally on the closing day of the conference there will be a round-table discussion about the impact of the ascension of Isis to the mantle of Goddess of Magic. We wish to have your perspective as one of her new Chosen.
Please let us know if you will be able to attend at your earliest convenience. The conference will be held 15 - 20 Marpenoth. As a guest speaker all of your expenses while at the conference will be covered by the Temple.
