Katrina Hunter, or Kat, joined the party after they rescued her from the Underdark, where she was stuck in cat form after being blasted by a mind flayer. She is a rare form of shape-changer from the far east, a race known as hengeyokai. She is able to appear human, humanoid but with feline features, and as a cat.
When in biped form (the mix of cat and human) her martial arts fighting technique based on the cat comes into full bloom. Her rapid, precise strikes deal out large amounts of damage in very little time. But as dangerous as she is in melee she is even more dangerous with a bow in her hand. She proved that skill during the Battle of Red Vale when she shot a red dragon in the eye (and got fried for her trouble).
While she has some thief skills, she is more of a stealthy fighter than a true fighter/thief. Using her slippers of spider climbing she spends much of her time on the ceiling, protecting the other members of the Truth Seekers from above.
