The "Cat" martial arts style
Katrina has learned the art of unarmed combat. Her style is, not surprisingly, based on the attacks of a cat. Her strikes are quick and darting. They don't do much damage individually, but they happen so quickly the damage quickly adds up. Katrina is really a threat when she combines her martial arts style with her bipedal form, where her claws add to the damage done on each attack.
We are using the martial arts rules out of Oriental Adventures rather than the ones in Combat and Tactics. Under those rules here are the stats for Katrina's style:
- Base AC: 6
- Number of Attacks: 3/round
- Damage per attack: 1-4
- Special abilities:
- Feint - roll to hit, if succede no damage but gets +2 to hit on next strike
- Leap - if standing can jump 4' up, 3+lv forward, if running 8' up and 10+lv forward
- All Around Sight - can detect opponents on all sides, back attacks not possible
- Falling - only takes 1/2 damage from any fall
- Blind Fighting - a better version of the NWP, only a -1 penalty
- Instant Stand - can get back onto feet instantly if falls or is knocked down
- Sticky Touch - if hits can say in contact and keep fighting, get +2 to hit and -2 to AC
- Backward Kick - can kick straight behind (or over head) without bothering to turn
