This small outpost in the realm of cyberspace is designed for the Players and Lurkers of the Night Below game. It contains maps, drawings, and other resources which enable these Truth Seekers to inflict further pain and suffering upon the inhabitants of the Underdark. Some sections may still be "under construction", as it were. Please pardon the dust.
Maps As the Truth Seekers have traveled around - both above and below ground - they have been creating maps of their journeys. You may slip your hand into their map pouch and pull out one of these maps to view for yourself simply by following one of the links below:
| Link | Description | ||
| Tactical Map | Map of the situation the party is currently in, updated frequently | ||
| Lair Map | Map of the lair/area the party is currently in for that "overall" picture | ||
| Gnome Map | A map given to the party by the Svirfneblin | ||
| The Underdark | A map showing the relative distances between important locations | ||
| The Bubble | A map of the Bubble, a geographical feature in the Underdark where Ariessus grew up. A description of the features of the Bubble, including the drow city of Sakar-hath-Aswabahir, can be found here. | ||
| Area Map | A map of the area around the City of the Glass Pool, given to the party by the rebel derro. | ||
| Servant Derro Lair | A map of the lair of the servant derro, given to the party by the rebel derro. |
Ah, but these are not all that is available to the curious or kleptomaniac. Older maps which the party no longer uses on a daily basis may also be had... for a price. E-mail Saif and I'm sure something can be arranged. If the negotiations go well you may see maps of Milborne and Thurmaster as well as old maps from different combat situations.
Handouts According to Saif, the world of IRC is "visually challenged". To overcome this limitation he has posted several drawings which help the players to visualize items which they have found... or stolen. Most of these drawings can be found below:
| Link | Description | ||
| Seeker Compound | The party compound currently under construction in Jurgenville | ||
| Home Sweet Home | The Seeker's magical cottage | ||
| Journal Page | A page from the journal of Hazakian the Wise (found in Deepspawn lair) | ||
| Journal Page | A page from the journal of Hazakian the Wise (found in Lurker lair) | ||
| Journal Page | A page from the journal of Hazakian the Wise (found in Bertram's hut) | ||
| Journal Page | A page from the journal of Hazakian the Wise (found in the swirl caverns) | ||
| Derro Brooch | The Brooch worn by the tribe of derro guarding the margins of the City of the Glass Pool | ||
| Illithid Pin | A pin found with an illithid in the gut of a Purple Worm |
There are also several older drawings which you can see, again if the price is right. Drawings of the symbol of the Bloodskull orcs, the spear their shaman wielded, a strange brooch found on a decomposing wizard, and the symbol on a ring held by a goblin shaman are all available for the asking. You know how.
Party Treasury Ah, now we get to the true reason for all adventures, no? The money, the loot, the sparkle and glitter, and especially the magic. The Truth Seekers have grabbed their fair share of wealth over the past year or so. The links below will give you a summary of what they have taken and what they still have. Unless otherwise stated all wealth-related items are stored in the party vault in the Compound.
| Link | Description | ||
| Treasure Chest | A new, consolidated sheet with most of the party's wealth-related information. Use the buttons at the bottom of the page to navigate between the different sheets. | ||
| Party Magical Items | What magical items are in the possession of different party members. | ||
| Treasury Tracker | They say a picture is worth a thousand words. This graph shows how the party's value has grown over time. | ||
| Party Policy on Magic and Treasure | The Truth Seeker's "official" policy on how treasure is distributed and how magic items are given out. Written by Castinar, party leader at the time that this agreement was penned. |

Jurgenville Jurgenville, a peaceful little alpine village. Right. Don't any of you get what is going on there? Well, anyway Saif tells me this is a work-in-progress, and that eventually this information will be in a much more "user-friendly" format. He does have a favor to ask of the Players in the game - if your avatar knows something about an NPC listed here, please e-mail him to remind him that you know that particular fact.
| Link | Description | ||
| Jurgenville | A very basic map of the city where the Seekers go for training | ||
| Jville Key | A key to the map of Jurgenville | ||
| Jurgenville Valley | A large map of the valley and mountains around Jurgenville. | ||
| Important NPCs | This page is in very rough format and will be added to as Saif gets the time to work on it. | ||
| Important Locations | The formatting on this page is even rougher than the NPC page. Right now it is kind of a "dumping ground" for information the party discovers about Jurgenville. | ||
| NPCs at TSR | Finally, a roster of the key personnel employed by the Truth Seekers at their Retreat outside of Jurgenville. |
Current Battle Grid At times Saif has problems remembering of all of the different things the party members are able to do. To assist him in keeping track of the most important facts he creates what he terms a "Battle Grid". He then references this document during the IRC sessions to track things like physical damage, spells cast, and the such. Before each chat session he posts his most up-to-date battle grid in cyberspace so that the players may review it, ensuring that there are no mistakes. There is also the most current Baseline Battle Grid, which shows the party's baseline configuration, before combat spells are cast.
(Just a suggestion from your friend Pallistren - there are certain groups that I know of which would be most interested in knowing the information contained on one of these Battle Grids - groups who would be willing to pay most handsomely for that information. For a modest cut I could introduce you to some of those groups. Interested?)
Marching Order Sane, the heartless kenku leader of the Truth Seekers, forces his unlucky compatriots to undertake long, forced marches at regular intervals in precision formations. The formations he demands that they assume can be seen by following the underlined link.
(Ah, even more tactical information that could be worth substantial amounts of money to the right people. Have your people call mine. We'll talk.)
Online Dice Roller One of the stranger elements of this whole plane-to-plane influence theory Saif proposes is that the forces of chaos and luck on my plane are simulated by dice on your plane. I'm sure Tymora would be flattered. While most of the time the players use a "dicebot" (some kind of conjured servant) in the world of IRC, at times they may wish to roll "off-line", such as when rolling for hit points (which I believe to be an estimation of an avatar's luck and hardiness). The particular dice roller that Saif prefers to use is offered free of charge (you humans never did have a good grasp on profit taking) by the denizens inhabiting the cyber world of Irony Games.
Player Survey Saif's leadership style highlights a weakness you humans often exhibit. He seems overly concerned with what his players think. He's the DM. I keep telling him whatever he says should go! But he disagrees. He wants to know what his players think of the game - how it is going, what is good about it, and what could be improved. Weak. But, he asked, and they responded. He then wasted... ok, spent some time summarizing their answers and replying to their concerns. The Player Survey link will take you to their thoughts on the game. The survey was conducted in Mirtul - excuse me, May - of your millenial year.
